This may be my last entry.  I don't seem to put in too many entries.  I've created a Facebook.  Haven't really done anything with it yet, but I will.  I'll be creating a Myspace also.  Nuts, huh?  What exactly took me so long?  Well, I've got someone I simply need to keep in close contact with, and some others who I could call my friends.
    We'll see how it goes.

Good book.  I've got around 30 pages to read tonight.  I'll feel fortunate if I can sleep before 1.  I hope this new late-night and early-morning schedule doesn't drive me insane.

Hey, Katie -- Happy Birthday!

Yeah, I'm late, as usual, and not necessarily fashionably.  It was also my nephew's birthday, but I didn't even see him.
Basically, I've been going to school, training for a tournament in May, going to church, and spending time with a very special someone.  Tonight I've got some homework left, so I'll have to be rather quick.
I just got through a "30-Hour-Famine".  It's a national thing, so I'm sure whoever reads this may have some idea what it is.  Fasting for thirty hours so that money can be raised to feed people who are really hungry around the world is the deal.  In our case, we're providing aid for those in Malawi, Africa.  I hope I've done some good.
God only knows how late I'll be up tonight, or even if there'll be school tomorrow, since we're under an ice storm warning until Wednesday.

I've had a rather interesting life this past couple of weeks.  I was going to post right after Christmas, but I couldn't really think of much to say.  Let's just say it was as it should have been:  great.
I think maybe a week-and-a-half to two weeks ago our internet screwed up.  And so for some reason, we couldn't possibly connect.  Then the router got fried.  So we got another one.  Now it works again.  I think I may have taken it for granted, like most everything (not hard to admit).  It's really great to be back, though.
I've made friends with a very interesting person lately. Well, I've known her since the beginning of the school year, but she wanted to meet up because she thought I was a really "interesting person".  No, the relationship is not like that.  We're friends.  I gave her my phone number, and we went to a coffee shop...  two nights in a row.  The first night (Friday) we were there for three hours.  Just talking about stuff I'm not really used to talking to anyone about.  She's pretty much comfortable talking about anything, so we kind of did.  Last night she wanted me to go over to her house to watch "The Tudors".  Uh, yeah.  It's a fascinating series. Plays on Showtime.  Then we went back to the coffee shop, and then drove around, because they closed half an hour before we left.
Anyway, I've had my license for a while.  Katie, would you like it if I paid you a visit this Summer?  My parents are completely cool with it.  That's mainly, I think, because they really respect you.  I don't know.  It's completely understandable if you say no.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Yeah... Christmas Eve.  I'll probably be up pretty late tonight.  But that's usual.  I hope anyone and everyone who reads this has a great Christmas with their families.
There is one thing that I feel is important to be known about my current life though:  I got my license.  Two Thursdays ago, I think.  I'm overjoyed about it.  Can't wait to travel solo sometimes, especially next summer.

Oh, and Katie -- thank you very much for the Christmas card!  I hope you have a "merri" Christmas too.  You're  one of the best friends that I've ever had.  Thanks for being there.
